Organ recording for UNESCO
Stéréo & immersive

The request: The organ at St-Philibert Abbey in Tournus is an exceptional instrument. After recording a first album in 2016, the production team asked us back to record another album, but this time in an immersive format.
Our solution: We suspended an OCT 3D tree supplemented with additional equipment. DANTE signals feed our redundant multitrack recording stations. The stereo and immersive mix is intended for UNESCO for the site's classification.
+ 200 choir members - Zénith
Focus on speed and efficiency

The request: The production team wanted a highly efficient and quick-to-implement solution for the Gospel Kids 20th anniversary concert at the Zénith in Strasbourg, featuring 200 choir members, a power quartet, and ten soloists.
Our solution: A 100% digital microphone system that can be set up in less than two hours. 48-channel DANTE stream supplied to the front and monitor control rooms. Redundant multitrack recording for audiovisual post-production.
Vinyl & Dolby Atmos
OCT3D tree + spots mics

The request: A producer wanted to record the creation of a civil Requiem to produce a vinyl pressing and a Dolby Atmos version for 3D audio platforms.
Our solution: For the sound engineer in charge of the project, we deployed an OCT 3D tree plus additional spot mics. The signals were provided in DANTE and recorded on SoundDevice PIX240 and Pro Tools HD.
+ 1,000 artists at the Zénith
Orchestra and choir for sound and recording

The request: The production brings together a participatory choir of 1,000 singers and an acoustic orchestra of 40 musicians, spread across the stage and in the pit. A sound reinforcement and recording challenge.
Our solution: 64 digital microphones distributed across the stage and orchestra, connected via MADI to the front and monitor consoles, as well as to the multitrack recording station for post-production.
Contemporary musique creation
Audio 3D Ambisonic and spots

The request: the artist wanted to create a 100% immersive recording of contemporary pieces combining flutes, vocals, and acoustic chords in a church.
Our solution: an ND-Ambi-FOA Ambisonic tree combined with auxiliary microphones with live premixing and binaural monitoring encoding.
